SGB COMMUNICATIONS (SGB) offers public affairs services to counsel and assist clients in communicating their views to government officials, key opinion leaders, the media and general public. SGB develops and implements targeted communications strategies that incorporate governmental relations services to impact on public policy decisions and public relations services to broaden public support. Since 1988, SGB has served as a professional communications resource to local and state governments and to businesses and trade associations operating in regulated industries.

SGB offers clients a proven record of success. The two partners have more than 35 years of experience each in representing and providing public affairs counsel to clients and from serving in senior positions in government as a result of their presidential, gubernatorial and local appointments. They understand how decisions are made and the factors that influence public policy. SGB partners have also owned and managed businesses and are well versed in the industries they represent. They can articulate messages in a credible and believable way to best reach target audiences and decision makers. The partners have developed a network of ongoing affiliations and associations with public affairs and other consulting and professional firms that can be commissioned specifically to meet the needs of each client and the scope of each project.

SGB Communications is structured to offer each client the highest quality consulting service, with a fee schedule that is not encumbered by the expense of unrelated overhead or staff. Every major assignment has the direct involvement of a senior partner. The services of SGB are available through a variety of structures tailored to the client’s needs, including retainers for a stipulated time period, hourly service contracts for project assignments and commission or success fee arrangements.
