Bergfalk as President and Partner has provided government relations, public relations, and
management consulting services to a wide variety of clients both in the country and internationally since 1981.
During this time he helped form, manage and own banking, real estate, technology and media companies. He was also the EVP and a founder of a
NASDQ traded company which published local weekly newspapers in 36 cities. Bergfalk serves on regulatory boards, as a result of
gubernatorial appointments serves on the boardsoof international trade organizations.
Prior to 1981, Bergfalk was appointed by the President to serve as Regional Director of U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This followed his appointments by a Governor and by local officials to direct state and county departments.
Scott Burnett as Vice President and Partner has provided governmental relations and campaign management services to a wide variety of clients, including grassroots advocacy projects for corporations and national associations. Prior to joining SGB in 1993, Burnett provided governmental relations services for 10 years as the Senior Vice President for Governmental Affairs for the environmental arm of Union Pacific. He joined them after he had formed and sold an environmental company, which grew to $10 million in sales. Prior to forming this company, Burnett served as Special Assistant to the White House from 1977 to 1980. He has served on the staffs of several members of Congress, and has managed statewide political campaigns. Burnett has served in the 1990’s on public and private boards, including the Kansas City Port Authority and Tax Increment Financing Commission, and since 1998 has served as an elected legislator of Jackson County, Missouri and the telecommunications and transportation committees of the National Association of Counties.
